Partnering with Celestion, Blackstar introduces the Zephyr lightweight speaker in this head. The speaker, equipped with a traditional Ferrite magnet, maintains high performance while being significantly lighter. This design is akin to optimizing a Formula 1 race car—removing excess weight for maximum efficiency. Consequently, it provides clear, powerful sound without unnecessary bulk.
The St. James 50 6L6 Head features advanced connectivity tailored for modern musicians. The USB output captures pure valve tone directly during recordings. The XLR CabRig output delivers high-quality stage sound without needing microphones. Additionally, the 1/4″ output allows you to enjoy the amp’s distinctive tone through headphones, adding versatility for both practice and recording.
Equipped with two footswitchable channels, this head lets you easily switch between clean and overdriven tones. The footswitchable Channel II Voice provides two overdrive settings (OD 1 and OD 2), enhancing flexibility for various musical styles. It also includes a 50W / 2W / Sag power reduction, allowing adjustments to fit different playing environments.
The St. James 50 6L6 Head features a Master Volume control and Digital Reverb, offering further sound customization. The Effects loop with effects level switch integrates external effects effortlessly.
